Venice, June 30 - July 4, 2025
10th IEEE European Symposium on Security and Privacy
EuroS&P 2025 will be held at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Lecture halls are located at the San Giobbe Economic Campus, in Cannaregio 873, Venice. Venice’s historic center, including landmarks like the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square, can be reached in about 25-30 minutes by foot or by public transport.
The campus is located in the northern part of the city, near the Venezia Santa Lucia train station, with direct pedestrian access from the station area. This makes it easily reachable for those arriving by train or vaporetto (water bus). The location is also very convenient for participants staying in hotels near the Mestre train station or city center, as they can reach Venezia Santa Lucia in just a few minutes by train or travel directly to Piazzale Roma via bus or tram.
For those arriving by air, Venice is served by Marco Polo Airport (VCE), located about 13 km from the city center. From the airport, visitors can reach Mestre in approximately 15-20 minutes by bus or taxi, while those heading directly to Venice can take the ACTV Line 5 bus or the ATVO express shuttle to Piazzale Roma in about 20-25 minutes. Alternatively, the Alilaguna water bus provides a direct connection to key locations, including Guglie and Ferrovia (Santa Lucia station), both near the San Giobbe campus. Private water taxis offer a faster but more expensive option, while regular taxis reach Piazzale Roma, from where the campus is a short walk or vaporetto ride away.
Venice is also well connected by high-speed rail, with Frecciarossa and Frecciargento trains offering fast connections from major Italian cities, including Milan, Rome, Florence, and Bologna, directly to Venezia Santa Lucia.
There are numerous accommodation options near the station as well as in other districts of the city. Participants can find details about recommended hotels on the Accommodation page.
