Visas

Traveling to UK may require a visa. You can use this website to check if you need one – keep in mind that, while the UK is (still) part of the European Union, it operates its own visa policy and is not part of the Schengen Area.

Processing times for visa applications vary according to the nationality of the applicant and local conditions of the issuing department. Please consult your consular website and plan your travels in advance.

Requesting visa support letters

The EuroS&P organizers cannot issue formal invitation letters for visas to attend the conference. However, we can issue a visa support letter.

Before requesting such letter, you must register for the conference and/or the workshops.

After registering (and paying), please request a visa support letter by filling in the following request. We will need the full name of the participant, date of birth, affiliation, duration of the visit, and a paragraph detailing the purpose of the visit.
