Digital Forensics and Information Security
The Computer Technology Department in the School of Technology invites
applications for a faculty member with expertise in Digital Forensics
and Information Security. The individual will be hired as
Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor depending
upon experience. Salary and rank commensurate with experience
and qualifications. The department's mission primarily focuses
teaching, educational scholarship through applied research, and
industry/professional outreach.
The individual must have relevant experience and scholarship in the
area. We are seeking an individual interested and able to
conduct applied research in a collaborative area (environment?), teach
undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as engage with relevant
public and private sector partners to contribute to emerging needs in
digital forensics and information security. Preference will be
given to candidates who can also teach core computer technology
courses. All
candidates must have an earned Masters Degree in a relevant
field.
An earned doctorate is preferred, but not a requirement for
employment, promotion, or tenure for this position.
